The Advanced Cable Plough (ACP) provides deep simultaneous or post-lay trenching and burial of small diameter flexible products such as power and communications cables and control umbilicals.
This SMDHydrovision-built plough can bury flexible products from 40 - 200mm diameter in a trench depth of 4m with maximum burial depth of 3.7m, can operate in water depths up to 500m and in all soil types including weak rock. Stability and sinkage in very soft soils (<5kPa) is controlled by the large front skids and rear stabilisers.
