Brett Cenkus serves as general counsel for DeepOcean Group overseeing the global legal department including risk management, compliance and ethics functions. Brett has more than ten years of experience from the industry and he previously served as general counsel of Trico Marine Group. From 2000 to 2006 he founded and developed Paragon Residential Mortgage, a Texas-based mortgage brokerage. Prior to that, Mr. Cenkus practiced law for a wide variety of companies, such as Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher, Flom LLP and Andrews Kurth LLP. Brett holds a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School and a bachelor of arts in economics from Messiah College.

Mr. Leon-Orantes is running DeepOcean operations in Mexico with both vessels and ROV operations. He joined DeepOcean in 2005 as part of the integration team following the merger with Oceanteam and spent two years with DeepOcean in Norway developing a variety of projects in marketing and business development. Prior to joining DeepOcean he spent eight years in Constructora Subacuatica Diavaz, a leading onshore and offshore construction company. Mr. Leon-Orantes holds a Bachelor in Science in Civil Engineering from UNAM in Mexico and an MBA from University of Texas in Austin, USA.

Before joining the company, Mr. Stokes was Manager of International Operations in Trico prior transferring to CTC in 2008 as Commercial Director. He has extensive experience in developing, negotiating and delivering commercial agreements in a global subsea environment and holds a Master of Science in Finance from Coastal Carolina University, USA.

Mr. Boyde joined the company in 2000 and has 12 years of experience from CTC where he held various roles including Senior Engineer, Engineering Manager, Business Development Manager APAC and Regional Manager. He has a wide range of project engineering experience managing onshore & offshore work scopes for subsea construction operations. Mr. Boyde holds a Master of Engineering from Southampton University, UK.

Mr. Thuestad has held the position as the Regional Manager for DeepOcean in Brazil since 2008. He first joined DeepOcean in 1999 as Project Manager for the Statoil survey frame agreement. He has a long and broad international experience including the start-up of DeepOcean´s regional office in Brazil when the company entered into the first IMR (inspection, maintenance and repair) contract with Petrobras. Mr. Thuestad has 14 years of direct offshore experience and 13 year of experience from the subsea industry. Mr. Thuestad holds an engineering degree from Agder Ingeniørhøgskole in Grimstad, Norway.

Mr. Sørdal joined DeepOcean in 2007 as Commercial Director. He has more than 20 years of experience from the offshore oil and gas industry and previously served as Manager for Procurement and Contracts at Teekay Shipping/Teekay Petrojarl, Manager of Tender Department at Aker Engineering and Petroleum Engineer at Petrotech. Mr. Sørdal holds a Bachelor Degree in Petroleum Engineering and Contract Administration from the University of Stavanger, Norway.

Mr. Mæland joined DeepOcean in 2007 as Senior Project Engineer and served as Lead Engineer and Project Manager for PRS and Kittiwake. His prior experience includes seven years at Norsk Hydro, including four years in R&D as Senior Project Engineer and three years in process management. Mr. Mæland holds a Master of Science in material technology and a business economist degree from the Norwegian School of Management.

Mr. Bårdsen has served as President of DeepOcean since 2009. Since joining the company in 2002, he has been involved with developing the company by holding various positions after being the first engineering manager of DeepOcean. These positions include Group Strategic Advisor on Operations and Strategic Planning and Director of Technology and International Business. Having gained more than 17 years of experience from subsea project management, technology development, and subsea operations, Mr. Bårdsen has also served as senior project engineer for Stolt Offshore, now Subsea7, specialising in design, engineering and operation of pipeline repair systems. He holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from NTNU, Norway, and professional degrees in finance and management from NTNU/NHH in Norway and National University in Singapore.

Mr. Heijermans has over 20 years of global experience in subsea construction, oil and gas and deepwater operations from the Americas, Europe and Australasia. Most recently, Heijermans was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Helix Energy Solutions Group, Inc., as well as Chairman of CloughHelix Pty Ltd, a joint venture company focused on the provision of light construction services and well intervention in the Asia Pacific Region. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President, offshore and gas storage for Enterprise Products Partners L.P. responsible for the management of offshore pipeline and production assets and the development and execution of USD 1.5 billion of organic growth deepwater infrastructure projects in the Gulf of Mexico. Previously, he held executive and senior level positions at GulfTerra Energy Partners, L.P., El Paso Corporation, Leviathan Gas Pipeline Partners L.P. and Royal Dutch Shell PLC.

Frank Eggink has 23 years of global experience in the oil and gas, chemicals, renewable energy and forestry sectors in the Americas, Europe and Asia. Before joining the DeepOcean team in February 2012, Frank served as Vice President for Finance and Planning for Shell Energy in Europe, Russia and Central Asia. Frank has a broad business background with solid finance and strategic leadership and business development skills, and a proven track record of shareholder value generation and delivery. Since 1988, he has held various positions at Royal Dutch Shell – e.g. General Manager of Shell Uruguay, Finance Manager for the North Region of Shell Oil Products Latin America in Miami and Global Project Manager for the Downstream Sarbanes Oxley Compliance Program at Shell’s London-office, just to mention a few. In several of his positions, Frank has led business transformation programs implementing business model change, enabling improved capital and cost efficiency, volume and profitability growth. Frank holds a business economics degree from the Erasmus University in the Netherlands.
