MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

LOCATION: CTC TEES OFFSHORE BASE, MIDDLESBROUGH, TEESIDE

Salary
Competitive per annum plus benefits, subject to experience.

Qualifications
Time served Technician with minimum HNC or equivalent, preferably multi-skilled, (Hydraulic/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic fault diagnosis and repair)

Objective

• To ensure that the company equipment (which includes but is not limited to, Ploughs, ROV’s and cable handling equipment), are maintained in an efficient, organised and controlled manner.
• Secure and maintain a reputation for safety, quality and effectiveness in the upkeep of the CTC equipment and effectiveness of mobilisations.
• Particular emphasis is to be kept on Safety of operations and personnel. In accordance with companies HS&E procedures.

Principal Responsibilities

• Participate in and encourage continuous improvement.
• Actively promote effective Health, Safety & Environmental policies
• To attend Risk Assessment Studies as required determining probable severity of possible hazard scenarios.
• Responsible for maintaining / reporting and resolving defects / repairs necessary for all designated equipment as appropriate.
• Ensure all work areas comply with HSE standards and company Quality Management System.
• To liaise with internal customer / project teams providing technical support, assistance and advice as necessary.
