EQUIPMENT SUPERVISOR(s)
Location: OFFSHORE - AREAS OF OPERATION WORLDWIDE
Qualifications
Minimum HNC or other recognised qualification) in an engineering discipline.
Multi-skilled, (Hydraulic/Mechanical/Electrical fault diagnosis and repair) and whilst having specific expertise in one area, should be familiar with, and able to safely fault find in other areas. Proficient PC user (Microsoft Word/Excel/Project) and with experience of Planned Maintenance Systems.
Appropriate and valid Offshore Survival certification and Offshore Medical are essential.
Experience & Person Spec
Offshore operational experience within the Oil and Gas Industry (cable/trenching operations), and fully conversant with the operation and maintenance of systems and sub-systems associated with Subsea vehicles/ploughs. Experience of SMD Hydrovision control systems and equipment would be a distinct advantage.
Demonstrating strong communication skills, you will be able to direct/co-ordinate activities and supervise multi-skilled personnel through offshore operations and maintenance activities.
Leading by example, you will be adept at working under pressure, can successfully priotise/multi-task manage, providing optimum support to your Superintendent and Offshore Manager.
You will have a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of safe working practices, and will fully embrace the Company’s safety culture and safety policy requirements in relation to work tasks undertaken, to ensure safe working practices are being observed at all times and with particular regard for personal safety and the safety of others.
The Role
To lead a team and operate and maintain all forms of operations equipment including plough/launch and recovery winches/”A” frames in a broad range of operational circumstances, ensuring the equipment achieves its highest performance during offshore operations and in accordance with the Client’s requirements, manufacturer’s Operating manuals and the Company’s procedures.
