EQUIPMENT TECHNICIANS

LOCATION: OFFSHORE

Qualifications
Minimum HNC or other recognised qualification) in an engineering discipline. 
Multi-skilled, (Hydraulic/Mechanical/Electrical fault diagnosis and repair) and whilst having specific expertise in one area, should be familiar with, and able to safely fault find in other areas. 

Appropriate and valid Offshore Survival certification and Offshore Medical.

Experience & Person Spec
Essential - offshore operational experience within the Oil and Gas Industry (cable/trenching operations), and fully conversant with the operation and maintenance of systems and sub-systems associated with Subsea vehicles/ploughs.  Experience of SMD Hydrovision control systems and equipment would be a distinct advantage.

Trainee’s will be considered where candidates can demonstrate a high degree of transferable skills/experience.

The Role
To operate and maintain all forms of operations equipment including plough/launch and recovery winches/”A” frames in a broad range of operational circumstances, ensuring the equipment achieves its highest performance during offshore operations and in accordance with the Client’s requirements, manufacturer’s Operating manuals and the Company’s procedures.
