COMMERCIAL SUPPORT ENGINEER

LOCATION: DARLINGTON

Qualifications & Experience
Degree qualified preferred (though not essential) competent Microsoft Project & Office Suite user, with experience in offshore industry and with offshore experience of lay, trench and ROV intervention operations.  Competent 2D Auto-Cad, Microsoft Project & Office Suite user.

Person Spec
Flexible, proactive and effective team player, demonstrating excellent communication skills (verbal and written), you will be able to organize and prioritise workloads, effectively balance multiple priorities and resources, and working to tight deadlines - remain focused under pressure.

Role Description
Reporting to the Lead Commercial Engineer/Engineering Manager, this position is the dedicated technical support function between the Engineering and Commercial Team with responsibility for:

• Review of incoming invitation to tender material and preparation of tender specific scope of work
• Preparation of subcontract scopes of work for issue by commercial department
• Liaison with CTC geotechnical engineers to produce burial assessments
• Preparation of method statements, specifications, calculations, schedules, technical qualifications and drawings to support the tender package
• Liaison with Client's technical tendering personnel and travel to tender clarification meetings as required
• Support Engineering & Project departments with preparation of project installation and construction documentation.
