The Modular Plough System provides simultaneous or post-lay trenching and burial of small diameter flexible products such as power and communication cables and control umbilicals.
The MPS can bury flexible products up to 200mm diameter to a trench depth of 1.2m operating in water depths to 1000m in all soil types other than rock. Stability and sinkage in very soft soils (<5kPa) is controlled by the large front skids and rear stabiliser.
